X4

The train steamed ahead, bathed in starlight
sweating through the noon-day sun.

On and on it flew across the skyline,
stopping only for moments and then it was off again.

Spinning through the states
Heading to the mountains of Montana

Until one day, a trumpet sounded
The call was foreign, but understood

Wheels immediately screeched. Sparks flew. Stop the train.
The engine whined and passengers jumped to the window to see what the matter was.

What was this?
Time to get off the train?

Passengers disembarked in the middle of a field in Illinois
What a strange place to be.
