Also, I cut my own hair yesterday- everybody said not to go to a cabeilereiro here (barber) because they like to chop off hair and make you pay bank. So. Heh I chopped of my own FOR FREE!!!! But not really, just a few inches and layers.
It is getting lovely and hot, and cancer worthy here!! I am excited to spend a Christmas in the heat of the summer.
I officially love Portuguese. Yeah, at times I call Peter the apostle a `big rock` and other times I offend people by congratulating people on gaining weight. But its all in good honest endeavoring. People normally understand.
I have a sinking feeling sister Gómez will leave me next week (transfer week) this is especially sad because I wont be able to sing high school musical with her, or make bread, or, sing a lot of really old fashioned songs, or, have someone to continually poke me in the side, or say that I `não presta`or call me a bread face. Oh well, I,d say we had a lovely run.
And this week I have learned a lot too. One, brazil doesn't believe in Halloween, two, with pain comes improvement, with real pain comes real improvement, and the Lord works through us. Truly He qualifies those He calls.
It has been interesting to see how people (including myself) change. How willing and unwilling hearts will move, open and realize.
Of all, Humility and love have been the recurring themes this week.
It's an interesting thing, to step back, and really ask yourself how you are doing- who you are being and becoming, and then DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Who hooooo
