Again.
Way too fast.
DUHDUHDUHDUUUUH
And Sister Gómez was transfered.
And I am pretty much a blubbery mess. Who knew- Aparently I have lakes behind my eyes.
She will leave me tomorrow (we are going to make American deliciousness pizza and eat our feelings today- how exciting!)
Also- I absolutely adore cocroaches (biggest sarcastic statement I have ever typed) they love our room, and they love to be huge and gross and fly and blehhhhgfhwah oafojfidos. Basically, I am glad Sister Gomez is the self-deemed man of the house...
But quick update on me and the work in Jundiaí Represa. We had the wonderful opportunity to teach doña D___. The 78 year-old wonderful die-heard catholic. All of her kids were baptized, and are such a precious happy family. And after many years, she has found the church really to be true! She cant walk now, and has difficulty doing many things, but she has found the joy of the Gospel. and Oh my goodness, how I love this lady. I just. I cant even put it in words.
We have been teaching T____ as well, the 21 year old who left most of his family in the north to find work down here, and he is so sensitive to the spirit. I am pretty sure he is teaching himself! He can feel when truth is being told by the whisperings of the spirit, and OH ITS JUST THE MOST AMAZING THING.
He also is a killer artist. woot woot He drew our names- graffiti like and beautiful and we melted of joy.
Really, this work is all about the people. Every day I meet more and more, and feel happier and happier teaching them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is haha really never much time to rest, and I never want to!
I literally cant believe sister Gomez is leaving. Our lil house of sunshine will house 6 next transfer! (They already moved in a new bunkbed in our room) It is bound to be crazy- 6 women. One bathroom hahahaha Im excited to see what will happen.
Also- this week I ate marancujah moose three times. Fun act, marancujah makes people really tired, and walking in the lovely burning sun has a tendency to do the same. a.k.a. When we hit the beds- we are rocks, and honkar (snore in Portuguese).
Final thing?
I told sister Gomez that We were going to turn into bacon today.
She pensively looked ahead of her and said under her breath
`Sister Meetchew frita... com sal.`
Basicamente `fried sister mitchell..... with Salt.`
And I died.
HAPPINESS PREACH AND PEACHESS
I love you alllllllllllllllll
p.s. Portuguese is going great! I understand people now!!!! practically everything! I am learning how to use Subjunctive here which is like comessemos, colocesse, quisessemos.... things like that...yeah. Working on speaking. So Here´s to gifts of the spirit.
p.p.s. Thank you for all of the prayers, I literally feel them working in me, and in this work.
Pictures.
