Blessed days

Is it really that bad if I share good news?
I promise it's not to brag, or make other people feel bad, so they'll compare their lives to mine.
It is simply because these things have made me happy, and perhaps you can rejoice with me! Sometimes in our society we avoid sharing the good things, as to not seem like we are haughty fewls.
Wellp commence the breaking of the code.

  •  I received a 4.0 for the first time  in my college history!!!! (blame it on the mission #studyhabits #lackofpartyhabits)
  • I ran into the most precious elderlies who were weeding. A conversation was struck, and it ended with an exchange of phone numbers, and an obvious plot to set me up with their guitar-playing grandson... and a promise they would let me know next time they were gardening so I could part-ay along side them!
  • I was blessed to see the Payson Temple open house. OH. My. Goodness. PEOPLE. if you can, GO. I have honestly never been to a more beautiful building in my life. Apple blossom stained glass and exotic wood imported from South Africa. As my grandma said "Only the best for the Lord." Truly it was built up for the Almighty.
  • The work-crew went on a field-trip for lunch to the roof. What a precious team-building exercise. Have I raved about how much I love those people yet? I honestly adore them. Funny, creative, inspiring, good-hearted people. Who love to attack me with gross desktop pictures. #magnifiedtick
  • (Longstoryshort: Iwasbitbyatickearlierthisweek-itembeddeditselfinmybackandwasthemosthorrendousanddisgustingthingever.butcameoutandtheteamthoughtitwas...agreatthingtoholdagainstmeforever.)
  • I was blessed to babysit my two little cousins. oh they are darling.Their gleeful soul squeaks just made a full blown orchestra out of my heart strings.
  • I found a curious set of scriptures in the back of the top shelf in our coat closet. (DOn't even ask why I was going through that pit) I opened them. and discovered a name. COMMENCE USE OF KILLER STALKING SKILLZ. I traced the man down, and sent him a picture of the quad, asking him if they indeed, belonged to him.Turns out, this young man had been praying for two years, consistently, to find them. I was extremely impressed with his faith, and filled with an immense gratitude. To have received an inkling of a thought and followed it, as to discover later that I was the answer to somebodies prayer.
  • It was sunny and I couldn't help but beam with joy. What a blessing to be alive. To have the energy to work and to play. To have the freedom to move and the freedom to love. What a glorious world full of The children of the Highest.
I can not rant enough about the goodness of God. Even though I fail and falter and flounder. He loves me. Blesses me according to my efforts and deep desires. He tries and toughens. But He does all things with purpose.

Cassidy’s treasures

In the laundry bin, making home next to my socks and underwear, I found a little tube of glossier blush, two square neon magnets, and a spec...
