This week was interesting.
I got food poisoned..................................
We ended up being rainstormed on basically every day.
Our sink clogged.
It was and is CARNE-val which means... party of the flesh... which is not good.
Investigators decided that they didn't want to hear any more.
We had to update our area book- which was like.... a huge disaster.
And our fridge ran out of food.
Not a single person who said they would go to church- went.
But.... on the other hand.
WE ARE SO HAPPY!
I got food poisoned.................................. which means extra time to be humble and a great opportunity to rely on God!
We ended up being rainstormed on basically every day= Not having to take as many showers + not being as hot!
Our sink clogged= uh... opportunities to learn about plumbing?
It was and is CARNE-val = We have a great opportunity to meet new people... hahaha? get it? meet? carne? hahahahhaa
Investigators decided that they didn't want to hear any more= We had time to find people who are ready and willing to hear the good news of the gospel.
We had to update our area book- which was like.... a huge disaster.... WAS! But now it is precious and beautifully organized.
And our fridge ran out of food= NEW FOOD!
Not a single person who said they would go to church- went= new tactics=more creativity= happiness muahahha.
Positivity is a choice people.
Sister Guynn and I are learning how to teach together with the Spirit.
We feel the influence of God working within every aspect of His work.
We felt the power of the Book of Mormon- truly it is a divinely inspired testament of the Savior.
We are learning, growing, loving, laughing, finding ourselves, and working hard to try and find the people that The Lord has prepared.
I am humbled. Blessed. Hopeful. and learning, every day a little more.
I know there exists one truth, because there exists one God- who is not molded by the doctrine of men. I know He has called prophets from the beginning of the world, and continues to calls them and will continue. For he is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
I know that God answers prayers.
He leads the Humble seeker of happiness.
