Good ol' Ricky A

Jaimie came from Denver to visit me this weekend which was beautifully insane. She is one of my best friends of all time and is such a shining beam of goodness. She is my confidant and crazy amiga– we bond over Rick Astley's good looks.

Sum up of our weekend: We stopped by salt lake to see the lights, rode the jolly bus, ate street crapes, meandered about city creek mall smelling candles and jollying all the way, got shot in these ricky A. shirts, went to sodelicious to get hazlenut Hot chocolate (drool), sang in the church choir, made banana bread, hung out with my darling chubby nephew, got free sandwiches, window shopped down center street and found some jems (Tuesday's with Morrie), frolicked in the freckled snow, and had a sleepover with my Grandmother. Needless to say, this weekend was chalk full of goodness and I am SPENT. She left early Tuesday morn- and since then i've been a scrambalin' to get through finals and jazz.

I can not even wait to see my family this Friday. Being on that 5 hour plane ride will mean I am done with the semester. Done with all of my assignments and various to-do's. It will mean freedom and rest. Which is something I am in desperate need of. Im a dreamin of that day which aaint too distant.
