I MUST WORK THE WORKS OF HIM THAT SENT ME...

"Here you are Alissa. A new mission. After a great preparation in the field.
Will you stay true to that which you determined and fought for? Will you trust, and be lead, and guided? Will you search for opportunities to teach and love- and then act? even to those who do not seem worthy of your care?
Will you look for the Approval of the father, or the vain approval of men? Will you trust His guidance and His plan? Or sulk away wishing for old days to return?
Will you allow yourself to YET be an instrument in the hands of God, in this very different battle field? Who are you going to choose to be? Are we not the sum of all of our choices? Don't our decisions determine our destiny?"

I was struck by the immediate reaction of the (once) blind man when he discovers that the Savior is in front of him. His simultaneous acceptance, faith, and action led me to tears. We are all in need of the Savior. We need him to lift us, to forgive us and to guide us. Alone... truly we are blind. And if we let Him, He will give us light, perspective, and understanding.
