Aug 25, 2014 Are Your Actions Bringing Glory to His Name?

It is he that Sustaineth the valiant of heart.
It is he that fighteth the cause of the humble
It is he that awe´s the eyes and hearts of mankind.
He is Incredible.
He works through the smallest and simplest of things to bring about His great and eternal work.
He speaks to man.
 He illuminates the mind.
 He fills the Heart.

I am dependant on God to be Happy.

I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR HIM.
Just a quick update: This week was pretty hard for us. We walked a lot and Summer has arrived early in Brazil.

Just one little story to share
We were walking to a distant neighborhood (on our way to an appointment) and ran across a little old lady.
She was conversing through the front gate with another lady. We stopped and talked to her.
She explained to us that she had lost her dog. We asked her what the 'lil pup looked like.
"He is white.... I left my house this morning to go for a walk with him and he disappeared.... and it's already getting late"
We asked her a few more questions
"I am here visiting my friend in this house. She left with her dog a little while ago, and I have to go home"
I repeated a few basic questions "where she was from" and "where she was going" and "where she lived".  In the end it was evident that this little lady was lost, and also quite confused. We ended up calling the police.... who didn't send anybody to help us. Or the firemen. Or the mental heath services (closed on Saturday)

So there we were. Saturday evening. In the middle of a street with a little lady with absolutely no information on her. Just with a set of keys, and in a nervous state.
#LIFEGUARDMODE.
Let's pray!
Okay!
After about 20 minutes, asking questions, trying to discover where this lady lived so we could help her find her house.... her eyes got real clear and she said, "R..., numero __, Vila Guararapes." I looked shocked at her, grabbed a paper and wrote down the address. We asked her if she was sure she lived there.
"I don't know... that's just the address that passed through my mind"
We walked with her to the road, as we got closer she seemed to get more and more lucid.
"Don't tell anybody what happened, they´ll think I´m crazy."
She welcomed us into her humble home and came to her senses. It was almost instantaneous as she stepped in the door. She explained that she has a memory problem. That she lives alone. Her husband died when they finished building the house. How she doesn't have the mental and physical health to go to church. How everyone makes fun of her, and makes rude comments about her when she passes on the street. How she doesn´t know why. She didn't know what she did to deserve this. Her son lives far away and she doesn't remember his phone number to call him.

I cried. My heart suffered with her.

We sang for her, and I promised her with all of the me I could muster that God Loves her. That He is taking care of her. That she should not fret, and try her best to be happy. That one day she will understand the WHY´s of this life.

We are blessed with a God that knows us and loves us.
"Even if you cannot always see that silver lining on your clouds, God can, for He is thvery source of the light you seek. He DOES love you, and He knows your fears. He hears your prayers. He is your Heavenly Father, and surely He matches with His own the tears His children shed."

"The heights by great men reached and kept were not obtained by sudden flight, but they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night"

MAY WE ALL GIVE THIS WORK OUR HEART MIGHT MINDS AND STRENGTH!

In the laundry bin, making home next to my socks and underwear, I found a little tube of glossier blush, two square neon magnets, and a spec...
