let us be happy people.
I am now serving with sister HANCOCK. who happens to have been serving in the US (atlanta) for a whole year, awaiting her vista. And she has arrived to be my long-lost-hipster-crazy-lovesbread type of companion. She speaks portch super well, is super tall, and absolutly wonderful
Tathiane was baptized this week. Tathiane is one of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. I may dare to say... that I dont think I have ever grown and learned so much with anyone outside of my own immediate family, because I have never invested so much in another. The Lord truly placed us together. I was oh so blessed to be able to teach her in the temple with sister hancock and sister Remund. The spirit was incredible. I literally can not explain the deep joy. I have never experieced anything like it
Tatiane has two daughters Giovanna and Julia. She works, takes care of them, teaches them, and keeps on top of everything else. The bills, the work, and at the same time she is so happy, and incredibly close with God. Of all things I have learned form her, I think the biggest was to follow the will of the Lord.
To trust Him, and do that which he asks, knowing He will provide.
But there is something really quite funny that tends to happen.
Those weeks when you have something big and important planned, a lot of big things happen to impede that work. For example, the water heater breaks, the wife of the baptizer gets supersick, the bishops wife as well, and then the baptism suit rips in half, and no one answers their phones.

We are going to invite 400 people this week to hear the message of the restoration!!!
HOW FUN!
Also- Scriptural mind blower?
Read the parable of the good samaritan
It can be seen as an allegory that shows the Love of God, the Plan of Salvation, and shows ever so beautifully and vividly how we are truly travelers, much in need of the Lord.
Man going down=adam/us
Jerusalem=paradise/living with God
Jerico- the world
Robbers=hostile powers/Temptation
Preist= law of Moses
Levite= O.T. Prophets
Samaratin=Jesus Christ
Manager of the Inn= Head of the church (to which the church has been entrusted)
Wounds=Disobedience
Beast= Lords Body
Inn=Church
When the Samaratin returns= 2 coming
Luke 10:25-37
25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down (suggests that it was a decision, was his intent, probably being well aware of the dangers that lay in the way) from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, (Interesting that they were interested in his clothes, a man coming from the Holy city) and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. (Which can very well imply and be talking about the first death , being shut out of the presence of God (sin))
31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. (Maybe because literally, he could not save the helpless traveler)
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him,and passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, (compassion is a word used very rarely in the books of scripture- check up the greek meaning-super deep)
34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, (through covenants) pouring in oil (healing ordinances? Necessary ordinances) and wine, (blood of the atonement) and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gavethem to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
How beautiful, and vivid. The Lord is the Good samaratin. We all NEED Him to be healed. I think that we can relate ourselves to many people in this story, at times becoming ourelves saviors on mt Zion, and other times, being very much in need of others, and at other times, serving those who have arrived at the Inn.
I pray that we may all go about the work of the Father, and be filled with the great joy that is THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.

p.s. just to point out- literally every word or phrase in this story can be studied and considered (Realize the Good samaratin went down with bandages and oil, obviously having descended with the specific purpose to Help that man)
