July 21, 2014 Hellos and Goodbyes

The time ticks quite quickly.
I will be leaving my lovely atibaia, and my wonderful companion to begin another adventure in another place, with another povo. Last night we were advised that Sister Remund and I were transfered. We still dont know where we will go.

Its strange because I am a little sad, but I feel complete. Whole. I feel no loss. Maybe I should. But I just, I feel as if I did All ther work that the Lord had prepared for me here in Atibaia. I feel as if.... I will miss it yes, with my heart and soul. Forever a part of me will stay here in Atibaia. But, truly I feel that the Lord accepted my work. And that is the most important, completing thing.

So many moments, miracles, growth, inexplicable occurances, streching and refining.

-We met a man infront of a bar who said "Me-mostra aonde fica a sua igreja tenho que conhecer Jesus!... Oh ESPERA.....let me practice my english.... you can pass me the address of your church? I Love Jesus. He´s the only one I love. I do bad things, so I dont know if Jesus still likes me.... Maybe one day I will change, But right now, no. "
It was a great moment.

-we have been sweeping our carpet for about 4 months now. WHO KNEW!

-I can not speak english. A real wealthy man began to speak to us, talking in perfect english after a few minutes of conversing I asked..... "would you have interest in recieving a visit from us?"..... Then I stumbled, looked at my companion. And she helped me. I have serious trouble speaking in English. hah. how embarrasing.

-We visited an elderly lady who has 80 cats. Her house has about 5 rooms and every single one is Overflowing and bubbling with little cats, big cats, strange cats, one eyed cats, skinny cats, fat cats. Cats in the sink cats on the fridge, cats in the shelves, and in bins. The sweet lady, pays for their food by knitting sweaters.

It is amazing, the feeling that comes from.... doing all that we can.
Satisfaction is priceless. Peace is priceless

In the laundry bin, making home next to my socks and underwear, I found a little tube of glossier blush, two square neon magnets, and a spec...
