HAPPY FATHERS DAY. I have the best dad in the world. The most wise and wonderful family guy.
Also... This week was interesting.
I was preached at again.
We were busy contacting one evening and were welcomed into a home by a young man. An elderly lady jumped up and ushered us in. She sat us down promptly on her couch. and began walking around back and forth waving her arms, telling us how we were servants of God, and how we should live his gospel. She said we should go to her church because she knows its true. I was a little overwhelmed with the situation the lady was about 70, and was quite happy to get close to our faces and tell us how to Live like she does.
We also met a crazy man this week! we were trying to teach him about the restoration, and then he asked us if we believe in aliens, went off explaining how gods are aliens, and how their molecule speed is on a higher level, that's why we cant visit them... and how we can visit the spirits.... He was beat up pretty bad a while back and suffered a whole lot, mentally and physically. He told us that when he has seizures he sees spirits rubbing his body....
He also told us that when he thinks about the men who beat him up he wants to kill them.
I felt sorry for him. But we didn't feel super safe finishing the lesson.
All in all I AM HAPPY. Enjoying the adventure, and working with all I got.
The work NEVER ends. There is always SO much to do, but I glory in it!
What a wonderful opportunity to be 24/7 serving the Lord. There is nothing like it. And there is no happiness comparable to it.
24 Only fear the Lord , and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
p.s. Did I mention that sister Remund and I are still together? Can you believe it? after... almost a YEAR haha what crazy wonderfulness. Out of my own immediate family, She has been the one that I have spent the most of my life with!
p.p.s. habacuque is a word. (hab-bah-kuuu-cheeey)
