However, I thought it fitting that my brother deserve a little attention after going through such an ordeal by stick.
And Now, in the voice of mah Maryland bound brother
So- Adam has been playing with kabob sticks lately (the ones with really pointy ends). He broke one in half and left it on the floor. Fast forward 3 hours later, and I accidentally kick it. The kabob stick, instead of just flying across the floor, jammed 3 inches into the bottom of my foot. I looked at it uncomprehendingly thinking "really?" then the pain hit. I didn't scream- I just calmly called hurriedly to Steven "pull it out- pull it out." I did now know previously how long the kabob stick was- so I thought it would be pretty little. Then Steven tried to pull it out. It wouldn't come. The stick was firmly jammed into my foot- like a GIANT splinter. My skin was stuck to the intrusion. Finally he put his hand on my foot and yanked. The kabob stick came flying out of my foot, and blood seeped from the wound uncontrollably. I quickly tried to stop the bleeding with a bunched up tissue- but it just kept on coming. then all of a suddenly the bleeding stopped- leaving me to look at the hole in my foot.
My only thought was. "man- I was going to go running today".
it now hurts pretty bad, but at least my toes wern't damaged.
