RICE CAKES AND BANANAS

Here we go. Here we go. Here we go.
A Friday adventure for the world to hear.
Stepped out.
The wind waving hair all about.
The last words repeating.
A broken record in Portuguese.

500 words and a test at 10.
crammed foods and greetings,
verb conjugations and days of the week,
religious words and commonly used phrases.

The clock struck 10.
Shuffled papers and scratching graphite.
I began to write
Praying not to get a D.

So many words.
I filled out as much as I could.
relief. Sweet relief.
Prancing out of that classroom, I knew today
Today was going to be a great day.
Turns out- It was one of the best days of the semester. There was a Friday hotdog mingling activity thing which basically means FRUIT AND COOKIES. Hitching a ride with Vanessa to the heart Docta  and then dancing to the DI where we met up with Jenneca. And finding the coolest shoes OF MY LIFE- wandering- exploring- and... starving- Walking to Maceys, buying a total of four bunches of bananas- endless rice cakes- sitting in the littlest patch of trash-coated-grass chomping on all of them.
Coming across the most adorable green mini field I have ever witnessed. Seriously guys. If you are ever around BYU. Right next to taco bell. It is a little haven of green happiness. But I did drop my thing of eggs and kinda I felt bad for the little duckies swimming around. I basically exploded their second cousins .

We ended the four hour escapade with a long walk home. Which means Ariah turns on her Iphone to the loudest setting, and puts it in my hood. So we swagswagswagwalk all the way home.
Ending with ward bonfires, ONE EYED DOGS, and swimming in the drizzling darkness.  #killinthefridaysbaby
