Maybe It struck some sort of chord within your soul and before you knew it, you knew it?
Sometimes I get that feeling.
I am not sure about a lot of things in life, but I am sure about a few.
And I would like to share a few simple truths with you today.
All humans, no matter how good or bad want to be loved, want to be loved and appreciated. When you can give that to someone? When you can satisfy their desire for the feeling of importance? You will become more important to them.
tis as simple as that.
We determine our future. Tis true we can not control a lot of things that act upon us, we can not predict the tragedies that will mull our minds, and dull our senses. But we can decide how to react. People don't make us who we are- we let them affect and change us.
God Is the same yesterday, today, and forever. This means the characteristics He used to have, He does have today. He is all-knowing, perfectly honest, perfectly trustworthy, perfectly fair, perfectly merciful, perfectly dedicated, perfectly intelligent, and perfectly loving- How? How could any being be so great? Well that is just it, He is a God. He loves us more than we will ever be able to comprehend. And we can trust Him.
Life is not easy. It was not meant to be. We may look around and think- Ohh I wish I had that or Ohh I wish I was like them because their life is easier, their life is happier. But the truth is life is what we make it. It will either be the best phase of our existence, or the most terrible horrendous years of torture. But nothing of lasting worth ever came easily, and Life is hard because it is worth it.
Doing what's right- make us happy.
What better reason to do it?
and don't kid yourself saying "I am only happy when I....*insert bad thing*" We all know what is good and bad. "ye are permitted to act for yourselves; for behold, God hath given unto you a knowledge and he hath made you free." We have been given that ability to choose (agency.)
If we learn and do Gods will- we will be happy creatures.
May I suggest you look for tidbits of truth- may you search for those sparks of light that are glowing steady amidst this insane psychedelic world.
