His.

The minds begin to wander and whisper.
"I can't tell people I am wrong. NO! I won't openly admit I have weakness. I can not depend on other people when they are not dependable. (Then the will think me better than I am!) And that will make me feel better. Besides, if I would be stepped upon, forced to take a step back down the social ladder. No. Haha. No WAY will I fall for that one. I am right. and even if I am wrong, I am right. And then Everyone will want to be with me and be like me. "

It's Human Nature people.
It has been since the old days. (check out Helamen 4)
Even right now, I bet you are defending yourself saying "I know someone who does that, but I don't! At least not that bad. I am better than them."
There you go. Building yourself up.
and here is where I mention why.
Pushing others further and further down really does make us feel like we are building ourselves further and further up. Even if it just happens in our minds. Truly we are all trying to fight our way out of the invisibility scale. If that means being rebellious, looking the most attractive, trying to be better than everyone else. SO BE IT.

But what happens when this lifeline is cut? What happens when we feel less than the best? Less talented? less beautiful? less knowledgeable? Someone has taken our place?
SCRUNCH. We are left with nothing.

All alone.

And THIS is the sad sad spiral that leaves so many gasping for air.

The truth needs to be admitted before any improvement can be made.

We depend on ourselves. We depend on eachother. And We depend on God. It is how the world works and has always worked. God has given us literally all we have, all we will ever have. Be that success, families, character traits, talents, life, shelter, food, joy, opportunity, beauty. Most of all He gave us His son and with that, the ability to return to Him.
We have been given SO MUCH. and we are promised ALL the Lord has. All of it.
We are literally His spirit sons and daughters. And we are in constant need for his support.

Just realize. Please. Just try to understand.
We are nothing without God.

Humility.
" It is not a sign of weakness, timidity, or fear; it is an indication that we know where our true strength lies. We can be both humble and fearless. We can be both humble and courageous"

It was John Riskin who said, "I believe the first test of a truly great man is his humility. I do not mean by humility, doubt of his own power, or hesitation in speaking his opinion. But really great men have a ... feeling that the greatness is not in them but through them; that they could not do or be anything else than God made them."

Andrew Murray said, "The humble man feels no jealousy or envy. He can praise God when others are preferred and blessed before him. He can bear to hear others praised while he is forgotten because ... he has received the spirit of Jesus, who pleased not Himself, and who sought not His own honor. Therefore, in putting on the Lord Jesus Christ he has put on the heart of compassion, kindness, meekness, long-suffering, and humility."

Gods Children Are Equal.

We are all brothers and sisters.
Should we not be consumed with Trying to help each other?  Feeling wonderful for the accomplishments and great blessings and qualities of others?

When His disciples asked Him, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” Jesus called a little child to come to Him and chided them, saying:
“Whosoever … shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 18:1, 4).
“For he that is least among you all, the same shall be great” (Luke 9:48).
