I reckon the reasons are simple ones:
Freedom from cheapening eyes
An audience constantly thrilled, constantly engaged.
A understanding heart, listening to my earnest and honest pleas
Whatever the reasons,
I think that journaling liberates me.
I need it, and I crave it.
